Ngl I can really struggle with eating breakfast.
Sometimes I just want to get started with my day and wait until lunch to eat.
DONT BE LIKE ME
Missing breakfast has sooooo many downsides
And news flash
If you aren’t hungry in the morning, your hormones are messed up πππ
When you EAT breakfast
+Your metabolism starts up for the day! Meaning you will burn more calories throughout your day compared to if you skip breakfast and stay in a “fasting” state
+Your blood sugar levels are replenished when you eat. Meaning you will have ENERGY
+Your body gets glucose which your brain THRIVES off of so you will have better concentration and mental clarity
+Your hormones are balanced when you eat breakfast. It stabilizes cortisol (stress hormone) which can cause you to eat more later in the day or stress eat
+Your muscles get food to eat! When you skip breakfast and are in a fasting state, your body may start to use muscle as energy. WE DON’T WANT THAT. We work so hard for our muscle. Don’t let it go to waste!!
+You get to enjoy the best meal! I mean come on. Who doesn’t love a good protein packed parfait, omelette or pancakes in the morning?!
(Side note. Breakfast does not need to be hard! Meal prep breakfast. Meal prep English muffins and put them in the freezer. Meal prep overnight oats. Meal prep egg quiches. There are so many ways to make breakfast easy!)

Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day and honestly it’s so hard to pick what my favorite is. But I really do love a full breakfast spread. Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns…. YUM SIGN ME UP! π₯π³
